Yes, we have completed 180 days and are still with Encompass Homeschool.

We are still homeschooling, but have switched associations.

We are no longer homeschooling, or have moved out of state and not subject to SC Homeschool laws.

State Requirements*

You must be following all of the requirements for homeschooling under the third option in SC. This includes the following:

I have attendance records and a planbook stating what lessons/exercises we do for each subject studied each day. (Not that you have to cover each subject daily, but that it tells specifically what you have done.) It should keep a running total of days of school done.

I have written an end of year progress report for each child stating what they worked one, and what they have accomplished, or still need extra time on. This should be done for each subject and is generally a couple paragraphs for each child. Subject grades for older children will cover this requirement as well.

I have maintained a portfolio of my children’s work throughout the year.

I have covered (at a minimum) the five core subjects required by the State of South Carolina including math, science, social studies, reading, and writing (or literature and composition for grades 7-12).
